Funfetti Cake Smoothie Recipe

Funfetti Cake Smoothie, a delicious but light combination for the popular dessert, without the cake batter!
Hola Amigos! Happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing with you something sweet to gives us a little extra boost to get to the end of the workweek with a smile!. This was a spur of the moment smoothie that was put together after I decided to organize my downstairs freezer and my desire of making more cake inspired refreshing drinks!
I've read a lot about funfetti cakes, cupcakes and ice creams, they seem like it name says...lots of fun and the smoothies yumm...but all of them had cake batter...I really didn't want to go that way. So mine has none, again, I made it using items I already had handy.

Funfetti Cake Smoothie
Funfetti Cake Smoothie with no cake batter added to make it even lighter! A healthier and light version of your traditional smoothie!
1 Cup Light Fruit Cocktail, Frozen
1 Cup Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
1 ( 6 onz) Very Vanilla Yogurt, Frozen
1/2 Cup Vailla Coconut Almond Milk, Frozen
1 tsps Vanilla Butter Extract
1 Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder
Sugar Free Cool Whip
Rainbow Sprinkles
Prepare your serving cup by dipping the rim of it on corn syrup first and then the rainbow sprinkles. I put the cup in the freezer while I'm preparing the smoothie

In a blender place the first 6  ingredients and blend until smooth. In a medium size mixing bowl, add some of the smoothie mix and 1/2 cup of cool whip. Fold this to together until they are both combined. This will give your smoothie the airiness of a real cake (well that is my opinion at least) you don't have to do this step, I did and it was awesome
Pour very carefully on your decorated glass and enjoy

Listo,
Oh boy...this stuff is good! You can really taste the tutti fruity which I Totally LoVE!

It's sweet and thick and airy! Just like sipping a bite of the cake!

I have to admit I don't think I've had more than 1 little slice of the actual funfetti cake, it's usually too sweet for my taste, but this, I just couldn't put it down.
Good thing the kids were around and I happily shared.

Sometimes good things comes after a good organizing round...which makes me wonder, do you keep fruits and yogurts on your freezer too? I had 4 assorted frozen fruit bags and 10 yogurts!

Thank you for sharing your time with me today! I hope you enjoy my version of this treat and try your own combination of great flavors!

Remember everything tastes better with a Pinch of Love!
Besitos,
Lizy
