Clam and Crab Creamy and Cheesy Smoked Mac and Cheese Recipe

Clams and Seafood with Creamy and Cheesy Smoked Mac and Cheese
Hola Amigos, We are getting close to the weekend again, seems like summer is going by so fast! Today I'm sharing a recipe we love, Mac and Cheese! and who doesn't right? I rarely used the stuff in the box except when "Big Boy" is starving in between Lunch and Dinner and he wants a snack...I know...snack? well he is a hungry teenager they snack full meals, lol
This recipe it's a meal in itself with clams, Bechamel sauce and smoked cheese, just keep the garlic bread handy and enjoy.
Here is the recipe
Clam Smoked Mac and Cheese
12 oz uncooked elbow noodles (around 4 cups cooked)
2 Cans (16oz) Whole Baby Clams (drained)
1 Can Crab Meat (optional) (drained)
2 Cups Bechamel Sauce
1 Tsps Seafood Seasoning
2 Cups Shredded "5 Italian Cheese" Mix
1/4 pd (aprx. 6 slices) Smoked Gouda Cheese
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
Bread Crumbs
Salt
pepper

Preheat your oven at 325F. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook your noodles to your desire doneness. Drain and put in a large mixing bowl.
Add your clams and crab meat, Bechamel sauce and seafood seasoning, fold until all these ingredients are integrated with the pasta. Add the 2 cups of your shredded cheese. Fold  again.
Butter a medium size baking bowl or 4 ramekins. Put some of the mac and cheese mix. Top with your smoked Gouda, bread crumbs and Parmesan Cheese.
Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bread crumbs are golden brown.
Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
Listo,

Very simple recipe but super tasty. Comfort food with a twist!

It's very cheese but never overpowering, jut the right balance, You can still enjoy the flavor of the clams and sweetness of the crab meat!

I hope you enjoy today's recipe. It's ideal on days like today, at least here, when it has been raining again and  you just want something quick, homemade and delicious, but not out of a blue box.

Remember my friends, everything tastes better with a Pinch of Love!,

Besitos,
Lizy
