guilty pleasures.......


We all have them. 

Things we really, thoroughly, 100% enjoy......and maybe shouldn't.....or at least maybe we shouldn't tell people about them....



Today I am thankful for guilty pleasures. 

Simple little things that just make life better.

a small start

here I am......"swinging" into the new year......bwahahahahaOne week into the year! 
Twenty Twelve they are calling it. 
I remember Y2K like it was yesterday, and I just accidentally dated a bill 2003, so it boggles my mind that it is 2012...you know, the year the world is ending, and stuff.

the art of doing nothing

Yesterday.
I should have cleaned my closet.....I curled up on my bed and read. I should have folded the mountain of laundry that is piling up and threatening an avalanche that will burry my children in mismatched socks.....I feel asleep on my bed, after I read of course.I thought about making chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles.......I threw some waffles together
